Dr.  Ka Yee So is a board certified optometrist with a passion for serving her community. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where she received both her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics, and her doctorate in Optometry with honors in amblyopia research.

During her clinical rotations, she trained at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute pediatric clinic, Veteran Affairs hospital, and Marin community clinic. Before working at East Bay Ophthalmology, Dr. So worked at La Clinica de La Raza to establish the first school-based health optometry clinic in Oakland, CA. 

 

In her spare time, Dr. So enjoys rock climbing, making music, and serving at her church with friends.
